BUT!!!! Be→ being

1 syllable ending in consonant + vowel + consonant ➡️ DOUBLE IT! 

 sit → sitting

 run → running

Exception: y, w, x

fix→fixing 

throw- throwing 

USE                                                                         

1.Actions in progress( which are happening NOW)

The baby is crying now.
The children are playing at the moment.

2. Temporary actions (not forever!)
